K2 customer, David Brown from the Food Standards Agency (FSA), joins us for this Q&A session on how they used smartforms and workflow capabilities to bring together multiple systems into one uniform solution.

The FSA's main aim is to ensure that food produced or sold in the UK is safe to eat, that consumers have the information they need to make informed choices about where and what they eat and that regulation and enforcement is risk-based and focused on improving public health.

Current systems proved major challenges with inconsistent and outdated IT systems that were slow to change and not adaptable to the frequent additional information demands in this area of work.

Since the K2 implementation at the FSA, they now have a consistent development path, enabling the Operations Data team to bring together multiple systems into one uniform solution. The new solution is used across 400 meat premises on a daily basis

Current improvements seen:

  • Error rates reduced from 5% to less than 1%
  • Time from data entry to availability of information in management reports reduced from 6 to 8 weeks to 1 day
  • Data collation time reduced to nothing because of improved validation

Join us for this in-depth Q&A discussion to see what changes they made within their organisation, lessons learnt, and best practices you can apply in your organisation to increase efficiency today!
