Webinar 1 - Digital Transformation Through Low-Code

Digital transformation is not only about business applications, but they are a key driver in its success. The way apps are created, rolled out, updated and consumed by businesses has fundamentally shifted in the last few years. Low-code platforms enable truly rich business applications to be rapidly configured and rolled out as a key enabler for digital transformation.
It is not a state of being, but a journey, and an ongoing exercise in  people, process, strategy, structure, and competitive dynamic change. Low-code apps can help you at each stage, as well as allow you to be the enabler for the adoption of known future technologies like machine learning, bots and IoT.
Join this webinar to learn:

  • What low-code apps are and why you should care
  • What are the key capabilities of low-code apps
  • How to build a low-code app with K2 through a live build demo

Upcoming Webinars

We are running a three part webinar series looking at how organizations exploit digital developments in a way that augments or expands their business models and enables digital transformation.

Hybrid Low-Code Apps Enable Digital Transformation

Digital transformation is imperative for business to thrive; it is not however an overnight exercise. One of the many considerations is how to leverage cloud systems and infrastructure whilst maintaining secure access to existing systems and business data. Getting this right can help accelerate your digital transformation program and provide both short and long term benefits.

When CTO’s turn to cloud services they can benefit from turning CAPEX to OPEX, freeing IT staff, scaling per their needs and benefiting from continuous service updates and new capabilities. The business can benefit from modern applications which truly help them provide a better service and get work done faster with improved accuracy and traceability. However, a pure cloud approach comes with its own restrictions in terms of data protection and residency, limited customization and legacy systems dependencies among others. The hybrid cloud model and hybrid applications are offered as solutions that close the gap between the two worlds, but setting up this model is a task that comes with no fewer challenges.

Mobile Apps Enabling Digital Transformation

Mobile is not optional. Employees are mobile, suppliers are mobile and crucially customers are mobile. Digital transformation without mobile in mind will fail when it comes to user adoption. Mobile applications are not new, there are over 2.2 million apps in the iOS app store*, however only a small fraction of these are business apps.

The challenge for organizations is how to enable mobile apps in the business without them being isolated and non-integrated. Building a mobile apps which captures information can be simple, building an application which captures information, integrates with line of business systems and orchestrates work across teams, departments and organizations is complex. When you want to build 10's or 100's of these applications as part of your transformation the challenge grows exponentially.
