WHITEPAPER  |  GOT INFOPATH ANXIETY?

CONFIDENTLY FACE AN UNCERTAIN FUTURE WITH K2’S SMARTFORMS AND MICROSOFT SHAREPOINT

On January 31, 2014, Microsoft announced that it will no longer be investing in Microsoft InfoPath, although it will continue to support the latest release, InfoPath 2013, until 2023. The update, posted on the Office Blogs website, announced that InfoPath will now be supported on the new Microsoft SharePoint release in 2016 “until further notice.”

For years now, the limitations of InfoPath forms have impeded work, including:

  • Lack of product updates
  • Poor browser-based functionality
  • Inability to use InfoPath forms as a part of SharePoint 2013 or SharePoint Online workflows

You are worried. We get it. Many, if not all, of your SharePoint forms were created using InfoPath, and these limitations coupled with the unresolved future of InfoPath presents a huge problem.

That’s why we created SmartForms.
